QOTD

I love quotes. (But then as a writer, I love words...and I love how other people arrange them.) So today I'm posting one of my favorite quotes. (Terri, I hope you're sitting down.)

“It seems that it is madder never to abandon one's self than often to be infatuated; better to be wounded, a captive and a slave, than always to walk in armor” --Margaret Fuller

And you'll note, it ties in with yesterday's blog. Don't you love themes?

Yep, I'm sitting down. Though I don't read blogs standing up very often. It is nice to know you worry.

I've been told similar words before. Maybe that's why I'm not a hugger - the armor gets in the way. *g*

Oh, and this totally fits the heroine in my WIP. Wonder why? *whistles innocently*

I don't believe you're not a hugger, Teri.

Although, I think Maya Angelou says, "When people, tell you who they are, believe them." So, I'm going to believe you.

I love the quote Hellion. Better to have loved than to have never loved.

I want my children to never be hurt. I know that's me always wanting the impossible. The love department is going to take them on woozy of a ride. I just want them to learn from their experiences in love. Never to be bitter but more importantly never to be self-destructive because of someone else.

"All men die but only a few ever live."

That's the line from Braveheart--or very close to it. It is the part where I start sobbing controllably.
